26th November 2007 Windsurfing: El Medano Wind Direction: NE Wind Stength: Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Scorchio!!! Sea Temperature: Weather: WTW sunshine :) Max Speed: Distance Covered: Back to Tenerife for a cheeky few days away from cold miserable UK winter grimness. Monday dawned windy in classic El Med style and by 11am I was out on a 5.2/FSW combo. This soon became too big so I quickly changed down to 4.7/waveboard and there followed 2 hours of hot and sunny full power jumping gybing joy, spoiled only by the waves being too crap for any decent riding. Yummy lunch at Cafe M then back out on the 5.2/Witchcraft on which I followed Richard up to the harbour wall. The waves were bigger there but not breaking properly because the tide was too high. Still good fun though. I've had many better days here but the fact that this is the end of November and I was sailing in boardies/rashie more than made up for any disappointment with the quality of the wavesailing on offer.
